Meals choices include a variety of international and American favorites and feature nightly menu items created by Chef Georges Blanc as well as five additional entree selections. Health-conscious travelers may opt for the “Spa Carnival” menu which offers entrees lower in fat, sodium, calories, and cholesterol. Breakfast and lunch are also available.

Golden Olympian Restaurant:
With sparkling displays of flatware gracing the walls, this restaurant celebrates the art of fashioning fine tableware. Sharing the same menu as the Silver Olympian, the two-level Golden Olympian (located forward) serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an elegant, Venetian-themed dining room.

Harry’s Supper Club:
This upscale, reservations-only, fine-dining alternative features steak, seafood, and specialty dishes for an additional charge of $30 per person. Artwork throughout the restaurant pays tribute to Harry Winston where jewelry and glass displays showcase replica jewelry depicting Winston’s designs. Passengers should allow about two hours for this one-of-a-kind dining experience that is definitely worth the additional charge. Harry’s Supper Club is open 6 PM–9:30 PM nightly and offers live music.

Emile’s Restaurant:
Liberty’s buffet-style venue offers both hot and cold breakfast and lunch choices including chicken, roast beef, fish, vegetarian choices, and regional menu items. The restaurant provides a casual dinner alternative to the ship’s main dining room and is complimented by an attentive wait staff.

Jardin Café:
For those looking to satisfy a coffee or chocolate fix, this hot spot offers freshly brewed coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, and delicious desserts (surcharge).

The Grille:
Classic favorites such as chicken sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, and hot dogs are prepared fresh daily.

Sushi lovers delight in beautifully displayed clusters of sushi rolls to enjoy at this venue.

The Deli:
Hot and cold gourmet sandwiches are the primary attractions at this popular spot.

Fish & Chips:
This low-key dining spot offers a variety of seafood options prepared on request.

Far East cuisine is featured at this restaurant.

The Pizzeria:
Hot ovens bake up traditional, fresh pizzas (such as pepperoni or cheese), as well as gourmet pizzas topped with wild mushrooms and goat cheese. The Pizzeria also serves freshly tossed Caesar salad. Open 24 hours.

The Salad Bar:
A wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and prepared salads are the main attractions at this dining spot.

The Ice Cream Parlor:
Ice-cream lovers plunge into this parlor’s selection of fresh ice cream, frozen yogurt, and toppings.

24-hour Room Service:
Room service options include a variety of juices, breads, sandwiches, salads, and beverages.

Carnival Liberty offers a wide variety of entertainment options catering to all age groups. On any given day, passengers find themselves participating in activities such as bingo, country-line dancing, contests—such as the infamous “hairy man” contest—fear factor pool games, horse racing, and art auctions. Guests can also watch an ice-carving presentation, kick-up their heals for late-night disco dancing, or attend a movie or concert at the Seaside Theatre. For those needing a little quiet, the library is a great place to scrapbook, play board games, or read a favorite book. Nightly performances presented in the Venetian Palace showcase the talents of stage performers and a live orchestra. Liberty also hosts the biggest party at sea on the Lido Deck which includes scavenger hunts, sing-alongs, dance competitions, as well as a challenge to create the longest conga line at sea.

Bars, lounges, and casinos:

  • Victoria Lounge: This locale, where most art auctions take place, offers live music and dancing as well as karaoke.
  • Flower Bar: Passengers enjoy pre-dinner music and after-dinner cocktails from the bar menu. The bar offers a casual atmosphere and is a great gathering place before or after dinner.
  • Hot and Cool Club: Dance the night away to the latest hits. Passengers who don’t have their dancing shoes on can check out the club’s art which features giant arms and legs with tattoos in bright fluorescent colors, illuminated by black lights.
  • The Stage: Guests relax in an intimate atmosphere while listening to live music or karaoke.
  • Piano Man: Request a favorite song and feel free to sing-along in this piano bar.
  • Gloves Bar: With sofas resembling giant catcher’s mitts, this bar also has more than 200 oversized, red-leather boxing gloves dangling from the ceiling above.
  • Paparazzi: Located on the promenade, this hot spot makes wine-sipping passengers feel like celebrities as a huge bulb on the ceiling flashes periodically like a camera.
  • Czar’s Palace: Guests can try their luck at one of the ship’s 200 slot machines onboard or 16 gaming tables. Attendees enjoy nightly live 50s and 60s music located by the casino bar.
  • Pool Bars: Two open-air bars include Tivoli Bar, located midship, and Versailles, located on the aft of the ship.
  • The Cabinet: This popular venue features live jazz in a cigar-friendly environment.

Swimming Pools:

In addition to Liberty’s three main pools, also onboard are five hot tubs (two aft hot tubs are adults-only) and a wading pool at Camp Carnival. Lounge chairs cover the entire Lido deck as well as the upper decks surrounding the main pool area. The Carnival Twister Water Slide is open 10 AM–5 PM on sea and port days.

  • Tivoli Pool: This main pool is located mid-ship between the Carnival Twister Water Slide and the Seaside Theatre. All pool entertainment, including the hairy man contest and the fear factor pool games, takes place by the Tivoli pool area.
  • Versailles Pool: This quieter aft pool is blanketed by a retractable glass roof to allow for swimming, rain or shine.
  • Coney Island Pool: Located forward on the ship, this pool provides more opportunities for guests to get their feet wet.

All performances take place in Liberty’s showroom, the Venetian Palace.

  • Welcome Aboard Show: This performance provides passengers a sampling of the entertainment to be seen throughout the cruise.
  • Rock Down Broadway: A high-energy, action-packed production that pays tribute to Broadway shows such as Little Shop of Horrors, Saturday Night Fever, Mamma Mia, Evita, and more.
  • Wonderful World: This low-key show offers a number of dance routines and a full share of songs in a tribute to the different nations of the world.
  • Carnival Legends: Starring fellow passengers who auditioned throughout the week, these karaoke numbers feature popular tunes by James Brown, Madonna, Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, and other legends.

Shore Excursions:

Liberty’s Shore Excursion Desk is never overly crowded and the lines are not long. Popular excursions fill up fast, so it’s best for travelers to plan ahead and have a good idea of what shore excursion(s) to book to avoid last-minute disappointments. Carnival Liberty offers a variety of options from scuba diving to zip-line adventures in the rain forest to shopping excursions. Sight-seeing and visiting historical sights are other sought-after choices.

Some of the most popular offerings are:

  • Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon: Vacationers begin with a 30-minute scenic cruise to Blue Lagoon Island, just off Nassau. Before meeting the dolphins, guests take part in an educational orientation, then have the opportunity to stand in approximately three feet of water and touch, feed, kiss, dance with, and hug friendly dolphins.
  • Canopy Tour: A 40-minute ride on the island taxi from the pier in Antigua whisks vacationers to the rain forest. A suspension bridge over the water leads to the start of nine zip lines, with the longest at over 300 feet and the highest at 350 feet. Participants finish off the course with nine challenges that offer a unique experience within the rain forest.
  • Virgin Gorda: “The Baths”: Passengers hop onboard another ship for a 40-minute cruise from Tortola to Virgin Gorda, the third largest of the British Virgin Islands. Participants can swim, snorkel, cliff jump, or sunbathe on the white-sand beaches of this beautiful island. Or, many choose to continue through the caves and experience the beautiful beach on the opposite side.

Liberty offers a variety of family-friendly amenities and educational classes, as well as activities geared towards teens only. Game rooms feature the latest video and arcade games. Counselors entertain the kids with arts and crafts, stories, scavenger hunts, and pool play, and more. Babysitting (surcharge) is available 10 PM–3 AM in the form of a pajama party at Camp Carnival.

A dimly lit reception area leads to a 16-room spa with treatment options ranging from teeth-whitening to Ionithermie (a body contouring, detoxification treatment).
